Please quick: need help with wiring

I am putting in a speedometer calibrator as we speak and ran into a problem. The vehicle speed sensor signal is a yellow wire and the ground is a purple wire, easy enough. But there are two yellow wires in the glove box going to the ecm, how can I tell which is which?

Thanks for all the help,

Jay

I know this isn't gona be any help at all, but my wiring guy i have at work uses a device called a toner that sends impulses down a wire.. you can use the toner to track wires through walls and everything.. very cool stuff If you had one i'm sure you'd be using it lol ...

Are they both exactly the same color? Or are they slightly different tinges? Also are they the same guage, and is one of the yellow wires kinda wrapped with the purple fella? I'd try shoeboxes site first.. good luck!

I got her all figured out. I just ran the wires directly to the speed sensor. The wires actually follow the transmission all the way to the enging compartment to the ecm. Woo Hoo, my speedo works!
