Please quick advice on good deal or not 94 Z28
Hey guys.,
Im not a new camaro owner or anything i've had an 87' v6er in the past and my dad has owned a 94 Z28 gem himselft for quite a few years but i found a 94 z auto thats red at a good price. I originally found the car on ebay and then went down in person the guy was a smalltime dealer and let me drive it around. On ebay the car was described as mint heres the link with all the info on the car

car is bone stock has power driver seat red auto it is mint in and out except for the spots i mention below
as you can see i won the auction at a good price (3100) but when i went down to look at the car to (and purchase) the windshield was cracked but he said he is replacing with a new windshield before he sells to me and front fender cracked alil bit both front bumper is cracked and all the way in the front the side fender where it meets the front bumper there is a small crack (damage is all in passengerside front corner covered by the bra looked under bra that was hiding this with bra on you would think car was mint and the car looks really good) and hood is slightly bent in that corner as well no other damage and asbolute no frame damage at all (def was a fender bender in that corner) now he came right out and told me about the items and said i could take the car to a bodywork guy to get a quote and we could work something out with the price as long as the quote wasnt a huge number, or i didnt have to get the car and he would still give me positive feedback, low and behold the quote was 1500 so should i try and just settle a price with him (take off couple hundred off the 3100 and just deal with keeping the bra on) the car runs really good only other thing i could possibly find was that the fuel pump is alil noisy when i put my head under there i knew to look for this cause ive done some work on my dads Z, but I would think that a 94 Z with 117K miles with only this minor body dmg is still a good deal at under 3,000 assuming that he takes off at least couple hundred dollars but just making sure with you guys what you guys think i appreciate it and the quicker the response the better cause i gotta get back to him today i had the car couple days thanks alot!

sorry i wanted to give the hole story didnt realize how long post was basically long story short guy wants 3100 for a 94 z28 red it is mint besides front right corner looks like it was in fender bender (small cracks all covered by bra) he said he can work with me on the price what should i offer him and is it worth it

Buy it. Make sure when you put it into manual 2nd, that it works. Mine didn't when i bought mine and eventually 2nd and 4th gave out. Other then that it's a good deal. I bought my 94 Z28, red, t-tops, and the works for 3 grand, and it has a huge dent in the door that costs another 2 grand to pull out. Take the car and run.

I wouldn't buy it.
Sounds like it's been in an accident, with the talk of damage to the one corner. The title might even be a salvage.
Run a Carfax on it before finalizing the sale!

I had 2 'fender benders' with my car that both resulted in rips in the plastic. It doesn't take much. One I was in a parking spot waiting for another car to back out and this old lady just backed right into me. Not very hard at all but it broke my turn signal and put a crack in it. The other was a similar situation where the backed into my front fender and tore the plastic.
All I'm saying is it doesn't mean this car hit wall or something cause it doesn't take much for that plastic to tear.
Sounds pretty good for 3K to me. Even the seats(as much as U can tell from the pic) look ot be in pretty good shape for 117K.

carfax was already ran, 3 owners, mileage and everything checked out no major accidents, ive been driving the car seems to run good only noise i can hear is little whine when you put your head below the car (fuel pump i assume) that gets quieter as the car warms up, still havent finalized anything yet will let you guys know
