PLEASE HELP....SO STUCK!!!!!reply

okay i have a 95 formula, i already have these mods on it (look down)

im wanting to get headers and y-pipe put in real soon. the only thing is that my car rides REAL REAL LOW! i want to get LT'S but i cant take a chance of scraping and getting an exhaust leak.

so i am thinking about getting mid lenght, the problem is all i find are LT'S and shorties....all i see are 1 3/4 and 1 5/8. what size are mid-lenght.....i see 1 5/8 equall and 1 3/4 equall, are those mid-lenght or what...what is the diffrence between them.

or should i just get hooker shorties and y-pipe and be done with it.......i am really intrested in the AS&M HEADERS AND Y-PIPE. but the only size i see is 1 3/4 arent those long tubes though.

would mid-lenght still be to long for my car?????

MY CAR RIDES LOW!!!

my mods

3.Harnest box(back seat removed)

the 1 5/8 and 1 3/4 refer to the pipe diameter, not the pipe length. AS&M headers are some of the most quality that you will find. Not shorties or long tubes, they sound like they would work well in you application. Good luck with whatever you find and decide to do.

I have the same problem and after a crap load of research and checking out cars I went with the SLP shorties. They are rated one of the if not the best in HP gains amongst shorties and mid lengths.

I can vouch for the ASM headers. I picked up .5 and 5 mph in the 1/4 with the addition of them and the cat back. Outstanding quality, NO ground clearance loss.
