please help! Quick!!!!

Ok guys this is going to sound dumb but i'm doing headers on my car and while i was removing the manifolds i broke something on the driver side. Its between the first and second sparkplug starting at the front of the motor, there is a plug with a wire that connects to something that screws into the motor but i have no clue what that part is??? I'm not that familiar with this stuff and i need help quickly so i can get a new part. The piece that the plug hooks up to just broke off the actual bolt that goes into the motor!!
Anyone please let me know what that is!!!!!

Thanks guys

ps: i wont be able to respond cause i'm not going to be near my computer until sometime tomorrow but please help!!!!!!

Re: please help! Quick!!!!

That is a coolant temp sensor. Easy to change, costs about $20 or so I think.

Yep, that's the temp sensor for your gauge. The car doesn't need it to run, but your temperature gauge won't work unless you replace it.

I am sure you could get them at NAPA, I know they have them at Advance. I went with AC Delco though.
