well today on my way home from work i was driving and when i went to hit the gas it was like my car died, even though it didnt. it was kinda like i was running out of gas, like when i pushed the gas there was nothing there.. and then all of the sudden it would go. when i came to a stop it stalled...it started right back up, and then it stalled once more just a block away at another stop sign, started right back up again and never done it again, i drove the remaining 4 miles home with no problems. im changing my plug wires tomorrow because i have a miss after 4500 rpms, i changed the plugs so now im gonna try the wires. what was funny is when it was doing that my check engine light never flashed...talk about weird...

 

I'm no expert, but I would maybe confirm good fuel pressure before doing anything else.

 

maybe a new fuel filter too along with some octane booster. might have gotten a hold of some bad gas. it only takes a few mins to change the filter so it's def. worth a shot. good luck!

 

i have a filter that hasnt been on there but like6 months, and i always run 93 octane. and im on a quarter tank....fuel press. is good...im worried its my opti
