please help, need wiring help 94 Z28
Hey guys I bought a 94 Z28 that had the engine torn out of it. I have a new engine going in but there are a couple wires that I can't seem to find where they go, they are broken off. First the knock sensor wire. I have the end but I can't find where it goes to in the loom.. second is the passenger side ABS wheel sensor wires, the wires are broke off from the plug and I don't see them anyplace. Now here is the deal, I found a black wire in the big loom that was pretty much burnt,I It was broken off. since it's black I was thinking it went to the wheel sensor but there should be one more wire also to the abs sensor. I also found a blue wire coming from the large wire loom. So anyway I have a black wire and a blue wire coming from the loom so guessing they may both go to the abs sensor then I am still missing one to go to the knock sensor. Can somebody look to see what color the two wires are that plug in to the passenger side abs sensor and also look and see what color the wire is for the knock sensor?
First I would not just assume since the color matches that it's the correct wire without tracing it back to it's source.
Second, you should consider replacing the forward engine harness since who really knows what else is funked up.
The wire going to the KS is dark blue and comes from the 22nd pin of the blue pcm connector.
The wires for the right front wheel speed sensor are tan and dark green and go to pin A3 and A4 of the EBCM.
Now do you see why you should contact painless performance?

Shbox's website has a great harness page which you can use to try and find which wires go to what. Considering their location, you'll be able to make an educated guess on what wires go to.
