I need to solve this problem for good. I currently am running TSP true duals under the axle and into a magnaflow muffler. I love the sound, but i'm not liking the ground clearance at all.I dont want to spend alot of money to run my duals over the axle and just have them rust over the winter here in MN My car is only a bolt on so i was considering switching to a stainless kooks Y pipe and a magnaflow cat back. I like its sound and its stainless and cheap. I know i wont lose much if any power by switching from the duals to the Y pipe and catback, but how will the catback hold up to a head/cam combo such as the LE1? I just want a stainless system with some ground clearance and be able to have people sit in my back seat again

There is a guy that has a LS1 T/A and had the borla catback with long tubes, he put down 413rwhp then he switched to true dual dumped and is at 418rwhp now. Not much of a difference for him. He's running stg2 patriot heads and a pretty good sized cam, sounds nasty. I think you would be fine.
