Please help..Brake question(I dont wanna die)

Ok as usual with LT1's, we have the problem with the ABS INOP...well mine comes on from time to time...always after I make the LO TRAC light come on. THis comes on after the brakes do a weird little clicking thing...and the peddle kinda falls towards the floor for a sec and comes back. My car has had this problem since the previous owner, and i dont know why. It never really bothered me that much, until today. I started the car, and the BRAKE light was on..the one that comes on with the parking brake is up..but it was down, i dont even use it. Well im driving to work, and it does the weird clicking thing, and all of the sudden it drops liek 3/4 to the floor, and i hardly have any brakes. It was acting like I have air in the lines...so i guess first thing to do is to try to bleed the brakes? Anyone have a problem with this?

Ok I just went out and the brake fluid was a lil low..and when i stopped(when it went to the floor) it was while i was turning and brakeing...so i think it just got some air in the line..this would cause this right?

Air in the lines usually causes spongy brake pedal feel, but it would likely be that way all the time. If the pedal feel is normal when it is working right, you might have a master cylinder problem or even something happening with the ABS unit. Of course, it would not hurt to flush the brake system and see if that helps.

sounds like a master cylinder problem to me also. I have no clue what symptoms might be if the ABS unit is not functioning properly.
