Unhappy Please HELP!!!

Ok guys I really need your help, my car depends on it. (sorry for the long post)
My 93 for the past month has been down. I all started with a hard cold start, it would sputter and putt and then turn on.(about 4 tries to turn over)
So this problem got worse and worse until it wouldn't start anymore. Now this only happens at cold start, if we manage to start it, its fine until it cools off... We changed out the opti with a new optical sensor and cap and rotor from msd(the old one was bad from the msd box) ignition sensor is good so we now have it down to a fuel problem. It has a new fuel filter on it and still no start. At the cold start the computer said that the injector bpw's are 19.65 thats high right? ive heard yes and no from 2 different people so here I stand before the camaro gods all help is greatly appreciated as I love my car! Thanks all and sorry for the long post again.

Re: Please HELP!!!

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Checked for leaky injectors? Vacuum leak?

Re: Please HELP!!!

Probably dumb response, but I always assume it's the battery until I completelly eliminate that as a possible problem. Bad battery=no start, hard start, no run...then make sure the spark is getting to the plugs and the fuel is getting to the injectors (check fuel pressure) and make sure no that your intake plenum to the TB is secure. And...of course always determine if the problem started after you did something, e.g. added something, adjusted something, removed something, modified something, etc....check TB to ensure that it is working correctly for the start mode.JMHO

Thanks for the ast replys guys!!! The injector test was fine, and it holds pressure well. Its right on as a matter of fact. the car is running at a little lower of voltage...the computer we ran tests on said 11.XX not sure what but yeah the injectors are fine and its getting enough fuel, apparently to much...

Re: Please HELP!!!

Check the coolant temp sensor (water pump) for accuracy. If its telling the PCM its colder than it really is, its going to run it pig rich (high pulse widths) on cold start.

Re: Please HELP!!!

Well, if it runs fine when it is warm (closed loop) then it has to be something that the car depends on (more) when it is cold (open loop). Do you know what you're MAP is reading? ECT?

Re: Please HELP!!!

Another vote for coolant temp. sensor in front of engine. It was my problem some time ago, and thanks to Injuneer, it's fixed I guess, your plugs should be all black...
