Today i tried to do the tb bypass and while i was doing it i took off the tps and the tb cover on top of the throttle body. now my car idles at 1500 rpms. I checked everything 3 times still idles at 1500rpms?????

1. Could this be that i used the gasket again for the tb plate????

Re: Please Help!

Did you put the foam seal back on the throttle shaft before you put the TPS sensor back on (potential air leak)? Did you correctly index the sensor to the end of the shaft? Do you have a voltmeter, so you can check the TPS voltage with the blades closed and verify correct position? Is the blade linkage allowing the quadrent to close firmly against the throttle stop screw (air leakage past open blades)?

Not likely the top cover, since that chamber connects to a port in front of the TB blades. You did put the gasket back on with the cover?
