please help!!!

alright everyone i have a 96 Z28SS and I was really set on getting gmmg for my car...i have slp 20TL right now and it sounds pretty good but is gmmg going to really liven up my car that much more (for $750 i want to make sure it sounds good).. So basically i'm asking anybody who knows what is a setup that is sure to make my car sound really good...I'm not one that wants a real conservative sounding car i want it to be really deep and loud but none of that raspy stuff...thanks alot in advance all input would be greatly appreciated

if you want to go away from the SS look with the 2OTL look then i would go ahead and get the GMMG. IMO if you want to keep that original SS look and liven up the sound and get a nice deep exhaust note, get your self a set of Hooker LT's and a mufflex off road y-pipe. Trust me I ran this setup before my hot cam install and it sounds nice and you will turn some heads with the nice exhaust note that it puts out.
You already have an excellent 3 inch cat back anyways, why replace it?

Well that describes the GMMG exactly. Deep, loud, zero raspy stuff.

It's expensive, but I wanted it so bad I had to bite the bullet.

Get headers if you want a deeper sound.

Macs or Long Tubes.

hollowing out my cat gave me a deeper exhaust note, but i've heard that with stock manifolds, it can add some rasp.

I loved how the car had a completely different sound at WOT though, like a ferarri. It sounded like a second engine kicked in, almost.

I just don't know if you want to put up with the smell, carbon shooting out your exhaust, as well as risking a hefty fine... but a lot of people go this way and never turn back.

(i however, bought a mac hiflow cat to replace it haha)

IMO, if you are looking for a noticeable performance gain going from 2OTL to GMMG, you are not going to see it. If you just want a different sound, then that is a matter of subjective preference.
