Please dont laugh. Could a hole in my Reservoir cause my Rad to empty ?

I been chasing a coolant leak, and found my plastic reservoir container had a leak/hole in it, I fill it to a certain point and water gushes out. Could this hole empty my radiator out ? Could I just yank it and epoxy it ?

If the radiator was burping enough coolant into the reservoir and it was then leaking out, you could lose a little coolant. I don't see any problem in removing and repairing it. This may not fully cure your problem, though.
