Over at the www.thirdgen.org board the topic came up running platinum plugs with an MSD coil and a lot of people say its a really bad idea and will burn holes in pistons? Anyone have any experience with this? I thought this would be a good place to ask.

i had no problems with it. however, the plugs did suck. the pucks were off 7 of 8 spark plugs i pulled out. they were only in there for like 7 months. that is the only reason i would stay away from them now. i dont think the coil had anything to do with it. this is just my experience though, they may work well for some others on here.
