Place to buy a high output Alternator?
For LT1 ofcourse. The guy before me bought a bigger one and had it juiced up some more at a shop. It has a custom(or bigger) accesory bracket thing to hold it, so it doesnt fit into the stock one. But I have the stock bracket.
Anyone know of a good place to get like a 160+ amp alternator?
Nothing fancy or chromed, jes something that works.

Since you have a CS-144, you have a couple of options...
There's a product or company out there called Mean Green I believe that is an alternator.
Shoot, Powermaster even builds one I believe.
Also, you might try Dominick Iraggi. He builds alternators for car stereo competitors. Runs two of them on his caddy. I think his email is dominick@tds.net
When my 200 amp unit goes out, I'm calling Dominick.
Another good place to ask this question is in the Custom Car Audio and Electronics forum, as most of those guys end up upgrading their alternators anyway.
