piston to valve clearance: will AFR 210cc heads 2.08/1.6 valves clear stock pistons?
I have a fairly complicated question.
I got a killer deal on AFR 210cc heads from someone on CF looking to get out of mod'ding cars. He's fed up.
These are the older non-elim version.
Anyways, I want to make these work on my boosted meth/water injected stock-bottom end car which has been running fine at the 10 psi boost level at stock CR.
The issue is these are big valve heads with 75cc chambers. Im going to have to get these milled down to 62 cc chamber volume to meet my compression ratio goals of around 9.7: 1 (dont want a lazy car off-the-boost).
The thing Im wondering is if the big 2.08/1.60 valves will still clear my valve reliefs (after milling) on my piston tops....
Does anyone know?

Put some clay on top of the cylinder, lightly bolt the head on and turn the motor over, pull it apart and see how much clearance you have to work with.

The cam event timing is a BIG factor.
As the other's have said nobody can know.
My gut says it will be an issue though, that is a big valve and to knock a 75cc chamber down to 62cc(doubt you can) you are talking massive milling, intake will certainly need to be cut too. I don't think it is worth the effort.
I am not an AFR fan, but that aside, if you really want to use those heads I think the better but more expensive route would be a flat top near zero deck 383 and not milling the heads.
