I'm wondering what are some good piston rings for the 355 listed in sig.

How do you expect anyone to answer without telling us what the pistons are??

Call the manufacturer of the pistons and use theirs. Dont use low tension, unless you like to make ARABS richer!

Without checking TRW's catalogue I am not sure if they offer pistons that take one size ring or if they also offer pistons for thin rings.

I will say it was a mistake if you bought old school pistons for thick rings, part of why the LT1 works so well is the thin low drag rings.

The pistons were part of the LT1 rebuild kit that Summit sells

Any rebuild kit parts are going to be lower quality, but you will probably ok if you are just looking for a street car and not a racer.

Find the kit on summit and see what size rings you need for those pistons. You can buy pre-gapped rings or file-to-fit. If you're planning on any power adder or a lot more HP than stock, you should get the file-to-fit and have someone who knows what they're doing install them for you.

No power adders, just NA. I have the LT4 conversion but the heads aren't ported, so not a big hp increase.

You'd probably be ok with some perfect circle or total seal rings. You just have to make sure they match your pistons and come pre-gapped.

File fit isn't a problem if I have to get those, I believe we had to do that last time anyway. Thanks for the responses
