piston rings?

piston rings?
My car has 122,XXX miles on the clock and I am going to upgrade the heads and cam within the next few weeks. My question is , with the added flow from the heads, would I need to change the piston rings to prevent oil being pulled into the combustion chamber, or would I be alright?
If so, which rings do I go with on a stock bottom end?
The heads flow around 237 @ 600 lift, if that helps any.
Thanks
Joe

Are you taking the whole engine apart? If not, then about the only thing you can check is to feel for a ridge at the top of the cylinder that is a sure sign you are due for new oversize pistons and rings. If there is no noticable ridge then look at the cross hatch pattern in the cylinder. If you can still see the pattern up in the top inch of the cylinder then you are ok with what you have. If you don't see anymore cross hatch in the top inch of the cylinder then at least swap the rings and rehone the cylinders.
