I've been having some problems after I did cam/head work/headers and chip upgrade to my 93 Z.
I had an idle problem (it would stumble), that is solved when taking out the chip. I still have pinging. I think I got distracted and filled the tank with 87 or 89 instead of 93. Last night I finally filled her back up and after 20 miles of driving still pinging.
I don't remember hearing the pinging when the car was 1st started and revved up and taken for a test drive.
I replaced my wires with 7mm wires instead of the normal 8mms.
Compression is up some with 39thousandths headgasket, shaved heads with larger int/exh valves; maybe a total of 1 point.
Need help.
