Pilot bushing install - bevel goes which way??

Pilot bushing install - bevel goes which way??
Just making sure - I think the bevel on the pilot bushing goes toward the transmission, NOT the engine, correct?? Thanks.

Thats correct. The bevel just makes it a little easier to get the input shaft to slide in when reinstalling the trans.
