but mabey you can help me find out why it seems when i am just crusing in either 5th or 6th at arond 1.5k to 2k the engine light comes on and then when i slow up or something it goes back off?

i tried to test it at autozone, but they tried the obd2 connector plug, but it didnt link up, but it fit (again dont understand that) and i dont really know of any other way to test it

Yes clean your EGR valve. Or check to see if the vacuum line is ever hooked up. mine came off and it would send the SES light on every now and then.

Re: Picture of EGR Valve???

You really need to keep all the "related" problems in a single thread.... you now have 3 different threads related to the same problem. People post duplicate answers, a person posting on this thread doesn't know what other posted in the previous threads.... etc.

Just a helpful suggestion.

Re: Picture of EGR Valve???

LOL I just noticed i've been replying to two different posts. I was thinking to myself "Man what an idiot. He doesnt even see the other post about the EGR valve, and probably hasn't even done a search." Now i realize it's more like "Man what an idiot, he needs to stop posting so many threads and just DO what people suggest rather than keep asking what to do."

Re: Picture of EGR Valve???

actually all of them were started with a different topic to bring more people to the problem, i am going to check the EGR valve, and that was from the mysterious check engine light, then i asked another questions about why the obd2 connector plug fit my car, and that question got anwsered also... and this one was to find a picture of the EGR valve, but i found it as soon as i posted it....... yeah i am an idiot about these problems, but i have to learn about it....... the multi threads are not hurting either of you, so why is it a problem that i just asked other specific problems in a new thread.....

Re: Picture of EGR Valve???

it is simple as this

one person might see 1 topic and not know the answer, and he might see the other question and he will go into that thread and answer that one..

yes i was lucky that yall knew all the answers, i was only trying to get the most responses as i could.... sorry

You either have to feel your way around or take stuff off that is in front of it. It's not as hard as it looks. Once the nuts are broken loose, they wil easily come off. Use a mirror, if needed.

Re: Picture of EGR Valve???

Nope not hurting any of us, but all 3 posts could have been answered with a simple search, and i believe all 3 were answered in your first post. I know there was a post about an SES light and the EGR valve plus the OBDI connecter becuase I MADE IT. The same thing happened to me, same year car, same symptoms.

If it looks impossible to get to you shouldnt be working on our cars lol. There is ALOT of things much harder to do them remove the EGR valve. It's two 13mm bolts i believe. Should be able to get it with a ratchet or a wrench.

Oh yeah, I'll sell you my stock intake elbow. I ordered an SLP ram air kit for my car so i wont need it. Mine has the donkey dong on it still too.

Re: Picture of EGR Valve???

The nuts actually use a 1/2" wrench size.
