Pics of LT4 starter next to an LT1 starter

Does anyone have a pic or pics of an LT1 starter next to and LT4 starter? I know that the LT4 starter is smaller, but I would like to know by how much. Also, if anyone has a pic of the LT4 starter on their car that would be a big help to me as well. Thanks in advance.

The LT4 starter is only 0.5" shorter but the big advantage is the moved the solenoid so you can get alot more header clearance. Plus its cheaper.

Thanks for the info Grease, I vaguely remember what it looked like, I bought one a few years ago to replace the starter on the 87 T Type I used to own. My concern is the placement of the solenoid. The LT1 starter has it mounted right above the starter, and the LT4 has it off more to the side I think, towards the header. I was hoping someone had some pics to to post. Do you know if the LT4 is smaller or larger in diameter? Thanks for the info.

I believe I have pics of both somewhere..
[I didn't have the 'wisdom' to take both side by side..]
I can't post them[no host], but could email them to you..

Hey Charlie, that would be great if you could. If you or someone has a pic of the LT4 starter on the car that would be super. My e-mail address is NJLT1SS1@aol.com

Someone had multiple pics of both along with the price of the LT4 and Jason Cromer's number but the link seems to be down when I searched for it. I would have had a pic of mine before I put it in but I dont have a camera. The solenoid is in a different spot that was easier to access (for me) opposed to the LT1. I noticed a little less clearance between my header and the LT4 starter, but thats what my heat shield is for. It was a great purchase though, thats for sure!
