Uh neat, but the power #'s are something a super mild cam only LT1 could do.. not seeing the point.

Yeah but these power numbers are not right. I garuntee you I get these A/F numbers to 12-12.5 and out of the 9's on that dyno I should be at around 360rwhp. If I took it to a dyno jet I would put down 400.

Oh and also, I put down more whp then a magnum rated 425fwhp, and only 3 hp less then a radically cammed, bolt ons, exhaust, LS1.

Dyno #'s mean nothing, get that thing tuned and get some track times. Come on guys, we dont race dyno's and either way the Gen I conversion looks bad @ss.

your dyno reads low or that ls1 has problems. Granted I like the job you did but if those numbers are through a m6 than I would had put a rebuilt LT1 in with a cam. I got 295 rwhp with a 12 bolt headers and cai with 335 tq.

Looks good dude. I never considered using the opti in place of the distributor!

I just posted about one I'm about done with and then I saw yours... LOL!

People dont realize there's lots of ways to do this. For me the point is if you can do it on a Gen 1, you have more options and larger engines available. Looks nice and clean!

I'm curious about the opti too. I put mine in the front like stock with an adapter between the modified timing cover and block. I'm curious how you did yours. Any clearance problems with the cowl with that thing? How did you time it?

Why not, I guess the shop that did yours just doesn't want any other work then right?

Even so, I would think that they would be interested in getting their name out even if there are no details of the setup...
