I'm not sure about the power steering pump, but a friend of mine removed the AC and heater on his '94 Formula. You need an AC delete pulley and just remove anything related to the AC.

to delete the power steering and the A/C you will need to get a Alt. bracket from www.madmanandcoracing.com.

Do a search for Steve10. He custom makes them. I got the polished one. He's cheaper and the quality is better than madman!

I feel its relalively easy to remove all the parts needed. It will take some patients though as your removing alot of parts. If you're planning on keeping your PS rack, you can run lines directly to your resivour and run it. I wouldn't recommend running a line from one side to the other as the rack can't bleed itself this way. Plugging each side off isn't a good idea either as pressures can't be equalized within the internal seals which can lead to the internal seals failing. This would mean that the PS rack would have to be rebuilt if you ran PS again or wanted to sell the rack at a later date.

Attaching the bracket on and setting up the alternator after all is said and done takes about 20 minutes. Your going to find out running your plug wires are VERY easy now

Hope this helps

Steve

How hard is the car to steer without the power steering? That is one open engine bay.

Not to bad with Skinnys. You dont notice it much at all during most driving. Backing in and out of parking spaces are the worst. Just have to muscle it a bit and try to turn the wheels when the car is rolling a little

Now with 245 or 255s, I imagine you'd have you're work cutout for you.

And Steve's right - plug changes are so much easier now.

It's not that bad after you get used to it. My daily driver does not have power steering.
