Well i put my traney back in to day that wase re-bulit and the pice still misses 2nd 3rd 4th. Are my shift points mesed up can I like clear them or any thing like that maybe burn them out

Its not hat the gears arent their its that they are slipen like they are late and when i jump on it it just revs when i get in to 3rd. I wonder if can burn the shift points out any ideas

 

sorry... my tranny knowledge is limited to my own tranny problems... im about to get a rebuild... won't shift out of 2nd

call Dana at Pro-Built automatics. That guy knows his stuff about f-body trannys. Personally I am buying a rebuilt hipo tranny with all the goods in it.Can handle 425rwh. shouldnt have to bother with it anymore. Then headers here I come.my price was 710.00 from somewhat local tranny builder. Will cost 350 to install. These tranny rebuilts at shops are highway robbery.No way tranny cost 1500 to rebuilt. Even with hipo parts cannot be over 400 dollars, but then very time consuming in labor. good luck. Pickerman
