Question jet hot headers for LT1s..in here

Ok just got the headers and they are beautiful. But, what about that slip fit tube? Mine seems like the same size as the main header and sure doesn't want to go in the tube. Has anyone else had this problem? Or do yours fit all the way into the connector? Mine sure won't unless I am planning to beat the crap out of them (in the engine bay I can only imagine the problems). Thanks.

Use some fine emery cloth and lightly sand the very end so it tapers.Dont over do it.You want a tight fit.I have Hookers and beat mine in with a piece of wood. Also put a little anti sieze on it.

Yep, I had to sand it down a little to make it fit. No problems so far.

I suggest heating up the tube that is on the outside so it will expand and you will be able to fit the header tube in.

I sanded mine down and just twisted it in.

I would be leary of heating up the tube. A torch gets a lot hotter than 1200* which the coating is rated at. I just sanded mine and tested it....sanded a little more.
You want to make sure it is as tight as possible so it doesn't leak.
