I was wondering what size pipe you used? Also what exactly does the bottom plate you made connect to? Or is it just sealing off the car from underneath air flow? And did you just put the filter on the down side of the pipe then? Details please. I might make one this summer.

Nope. I kinda like the black "stock" look to it.

Talking

I used 3.5 Exhaust tubing, I had a local Industrial Exhaust shop make the welds and bends after i had marked the piping. I made the plate myself, it is there to block off the air and also makes for a clean finish.

The tube is one peice and goes from the MAF to the plate, the plate has a 3" long peice welded to it, 1.5" is out the bottom and 1.5" is out the top, this allows from the K&N filter to be connected to the bottom and as you can see in the pic the pipe connects to it on the top. I will take some more detailed pics.

The pipe is now Polished was going to paint it orange to match the car but now i have a polished vortech elbow as well

Total Cost was $150CDN so that is about $100US, that includes everything, Piping, Plate, Welding/Bending, Rubber Couplings, Clamps, K&N.

I was thinking about making more but didn't know how much interest there was Thanks
