I just ordered mine the other day along with my long tubes. I should get it soon, cant wait to install it. What exhaust setup you plan to run? I am gonna be going the Jet Hot LT's, Hooker Y-pipe (no cats) and the SLP loudmouth. Gonna be LOUD, but i like it. Got any sound clips?

Looks awesome.

It's a shame you'll only be able to see it from under the car!

Looks great, but does it fit? I don't think there is any way that would fit on my car. It would run right into the tranny crossmember, but I have an A4. The y pipe has to drop down about 1" immediately after the header to clear the crossmember.

The crossmember shouldnt be any different I wouldnt think. I had the same issue on my car but we just grinded off some of the overhang on the crossmember to get the y-pipe to clear. Should be all thats necessary. The only problem is I had to take off the y-pipe to change the trans mount.
Drawback of LTs I guess.

Jet hot sells the hooker Y-pipe coated for I BELIVE $248. I remeber them saying for Jet Hot LT's and the Hooker Y-pipe coated they want $808 shipped. Good price in my opinion.

Looks great, but they have a tendency of getting pretty torn up down there :P I know I've rubbed mine on speed bumps and random leaks tend to make them look pretty nasty

Take a peak at the second URL in my original post. I added another picture that also shows the indention in the pipe for the tranny brace.

I plan on having it welded at the joints once I get it fitted to help eliminate leaks.

Also, I bought the Hooker y-pipe from Jet-Hot for $192, fully ceramic coated inside and out. That's a GREAT price considering it's $169 (uncoated) from most other places. It's well worth the extra $23 dollars for the coating.

Does that place the exhaust back at the stock location? Or do you need some kind of custom thing to a stock/aftermarket cat-back to fit?

I just took these pics yesterday so I haven't installed the pipe yet. From what I've seen/heard though, this y-pipe requires the stock i-pipe to be trimmed ever-so-slightly. I'll let you know for sure after next weekend though...

Jet-Hot sells the Hooker cat-back, fully ceramic-coated, so that along with a set of Mecham tips are the next purchases to complete the exhaust setup on my TA.

I'll post pics of it when I get everything installed.
