I got a new wp gear assembly today and the new one has the bearings pressed on alot further than the one I removed did.
Maybe when I removed it, the bearings slid to the end of the shaft??
I noticed there's a lip on the shaft and the new one has the bearing pressed all the way to the lip..is that where it should be?

When ya removed the old one the bearing moved on the shaft.

 

Thx ya'll, I got the new one in without a hitch....now to get the oil pan back on and finish my home made xhaust set
