performance shift button stuck?

performance shift button stuck?

is it possible the transmission performance shift button is stuck on in my 95 T/a? the light goes off but when its on and off it shifts the same, sometimes the 1-2 shift is somewhat hard but maybe this is normal

Could be just your tranny is a little "worn". I would say the pcm is working because the light is an indicator that the function is on or off. My personal observation is the shift timing is a bigger difference than the shift firmness.

Mine needed a rebuild before 30k miles because of the previous owner. You bought yours new?

Don't know what to tell you. You're not the first to say they did not feel much, but many others have posted the opposite.
