Performance rebuild help

Ok, so i have a motor that has been sitting for about 2 years now. it had 10k on it when i bought it from what the guy told me. it has forged pistons and a hotcam. i have some cash saved up now and would like to start tearing it down and replacing some stuff for peace of mind.

Please keep in mind that i will eventually be spraying a 150 shot of nitrous and after that prob. a LE2/3 combo..
But i might just get everything forged then and spray a huge shot.. mmMMmm.

I would like to replace all the bearings, put all arp hardware down there, and maybe some new rings.. can anyone give me any places to look to buy these parts and the part numbers. I am honestly looking for quality.. but i dont want overkill either.. Thanks for ya'lls help in advance. My budget is $1100 for these parts.

Summit racing, thunder racing, combination motorsports are all good places. I suggest sticking with your forged pistons(if they are a good brand), scat i-beams(cheaper but good quality), and i would stick with the lt1 crank. My shortblock was built by clint (lta ta on here, he was in gmhtp) and it consists of mahle forged and coated pistons, scat ibeams and a lt1 crank, clint told me it should take a 250 shot.

If you plan on doing an LE2/3 package and a 150 shot or greater, I would rebuild the block right the first time, all forged and a 4-bolt conversion. However, a 1100 budget won't put together a very durable bottom end for your intended goals.

ok.. so my budget is now in the $2200 range.. do you think that would cover this work?

Scat Forged 6" I Beams
Mahle PowerPak Piston Kit(which one would i need to get from jegs?)
CLevite Bearings
and machining work needed to bore it .030"..

Im looking to have a solid shortblock that will hold a close to 400hp n/a motor and close to 600 hp on a 150-175 shot.. anyone have a part list for a sure thing?
