performance loss??

performance loss??

i had my cats cut off and i have a 97 and i see that it has post cat 02 sensors and i finaly got the ses light on i am plannign on buying an O2 simulator but will it hurt my performance untill i buy it ?? i have just heard that from some people

It will a little bit. Do you still have your rear O2's in the pipes? If you do take them out. You don't want to ruin them.

It's not harming anything.....don't worry about it. How would it RUIN the O2 sensors? That's BS.

couldnt it get coated with unburnt gas? All that stuff the cat used ta catch will be on the O2...

If the exhaust gasses don't hurt the pre-cat sensors (and it doesn't), why would it hurt the after-cat sensors if the cats were missing?
