Performance Ignition Wires

Any recomendation on a plug wire set for a 97Z with 96-97 style Mac headers? Wires arching at tip of plug -boot and this time both ends of the coil wire. It keep having problems after 4-5 months with the Borg -Warner Nascar wires. My Mac headers are not coated and yep under hood temps get hot. Anyway they are run exactly like the stockers. What are some better wires? Taylor,Accell I just want to last to the end of the year atleast
. Wth-out a doubt they made me look like a whatever last week at the track. I could'nt even do a burn out- still ran 13 flat breaking up after the 1/8 . ---=- Still to come '''''''''' traction I need wire that can stand some heat.

Re: Performance Ignition Wires

I've gotten great performance using Accel 9000 wires. They have heat resistent boots and are 8 mm diameter. Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the ID of the boots.
