PEP valve springs any good?
PEP valve springs any good?
Hey guys, when I had the heads ported and built about a year ago the machine shop told me these were good but I don't know anything about them. He told me they were good up to .575 lift and I only use 1.5 rockers so the lift SHOULD not be an issue but, I plan on putting nitrous on the car in the very near future (within a month) and don't want to have bad things happen
. All I know about the springs is they are PEP brand and they have psk574 (looks like a part # to me) on the side of the box. I have tried doing a search on here and a search on ebay but I can't find anything. So if anyone could tell me anything I would appreciate it. I don't know the seat pressure or anything other than they are suppose to be good up to .575 lift. So far I have not had any issues, they have worked fine. Thanks
Also, if these are not sufficient what do you suggest?

Re: PEP valve springs any good?
Just found this on google......... http://www.precisionengineparts.com/ . Still can't find a way to find the specs of the springs but maybe someone can tell me a little more about this product? Has anyone heard of them? I'm sure someone knows something.

I already have them. I have not had any problems yet, and hopefully I won't.
What cam was your brother using? Where they rated for what he was using them for? They have been on my car about 7-8000 miles with the CC306.
