People using Ford #30 injectors come inside

How did you get the clips that hold the injectors to go back on...Are the clips really necessary? I mean they injectors are bolted down and the plugs will prob hold them striaght but i was wondering what you guys did for clips...Thanks

Michael

They can go on, but it's difficult.

I don't think they're necessary. They only seem to keep the injectors attached to the fuel rail when/if you remove the fuel rail. Once the rail is bolted down, they won't be going anywhere.

You can just leave them on without clips. I don't remember how the 30s looked, but if the clips don't fit, I cut the circle on them all around and they fit afterwards.
I ran injectors without clips for longer periods of time several times before and no problems.

Its been a while now but I remember swearing when I was trying to get my clips on. They aren't necessary but I put mine on anyways.
