I have the following mods that are in my sig. I've read so many posts on people saying to get gears, especially on cammed cars, and then a lot of people also say that the car feels faster but doesn't really change much in the 1/4mile. Lower mph with same ET. So whats the story here? Would I gain by going to 3.73s or 4.10s with my hotcam? Also, I realize traction may become an issue. Im on Nitto Drs right now and just put BMR LCAs in, next is the relocation brackets.

I ran 4.10 gears with my stock motor/exhaust manifold car, and went 12.82 @ 106 MPH...With a 3200 stall converter. I would cross the finish line @ 5800 RPM's.

Since doing my CC305/ported head combo, I'm on my 6200 shift lite about 100 ft. before the traps....Making it neccessary to use 4th gear. The new combo went 12.05 @ 112 MPH doing that.

I'm spraying this thing with 150 shot of NX next year, so I don't think the engine or the transmission would be too happy with the 4.10's, so I'm in the process of swapping to 3.73's.
