People with Detroit locker

I just got finished installing my 9 inch and the rear makes some strange noises. I read the manual and thay say some noise and clanking is normal but mine is making a ton of noise. It is also hard to spin the wheels with the back of the car jacked up.
It also clanks hard when you let of the clutch from a stop and the rear is loud driving down the road.
Never having messed with a moser 9 inch or locker I don`t know how much of this is normal.

I had a 9" detroit locker on my last car and I know this sounds stupid but make sure your gear oil is at the right level, Mine was low and was doing the same kind of thing because it was low on oil, Either that or the tolerances arn't set right to begin with.

I just went back out and took the back brakes off and what was causing most of the noise was the caliper was rubbing on the rotor
Looks like the rotor needs to be spaced out a little farther. Is it a bad idea to put a washer on each stud then put the rotor on?
