Re: People with AI and LE heads...

I'd be curious to see times because I'm still deciding what kind of heads I want...

Either guy's heads will likely get you where you want to go. Just call em' up, compare the prices and make a decision.

You can't base your decision on who's running the better times because there are far too many more important variables at work than "who's" cylinder heads are on top of the engine.

Good luck.

As Mindgame said.... compare the results of what people have to the prices and go from there.

Drag times are a function of car setup. You could have a F-body setup just to drag race with a stock motor run faster than a head cam car that wasn't meant to be drag raced...

Re: People with AI and LE heads...

The reason I made the post is to actually get some results everyone says great things about both but I never see any track times just dyno numbers, which I guess should be enough results but I can't make my mind up.

Re: People with AI and LE heads...

Both will give you great results, to be honest, as long as your willing to spend the money/put in the work to make sure the REST of the car compliments your heads and cam. Call up both guys, and talk to them. See which one you feel more comfortable with. FWIW, I have never heard someone with a legitimate bitch about these two guys. They're both stand up and stand by their work.

On another note, be careful with threads like this, they tend to turn to nothing more than a flame war between guys that are loyal customers of one or the other. G/L

LE heads with LE2 cam. 12.11@116 with a 1.898 60 foot (wet track and poor tuning). Car pulls 1.67 60 foots so I should be in the mid 11s with better tuning this spring.
