Is it under the valvecover on the lt1, I would like to replace it here at 85k miles but not so sure where its at...thought it was the plastic piece that sticks out of the the valve cover and into the tube but that thing is hollow.....?

 

It's in the middle of the LH side of the intake manifold, not in the RH valve cover.

this is for 95 im pretty sure 94 would be the same.
its on drivers side in the intake. takes 2 seconds to change. you just pull it out and change.
