Im waiting on getting my PCM back from PCMforless and was wondering how your experiences went his tunes? When I go to put the PCM back in the car is there anything I should do first?

You're going to feel like a kid at christmas when it arrives. I've been running their tune for 2 years now. Just increased boost running on a stock block from 8psi to 10psi. So far so good. I know i'm pushing the limits on a 121k mile engine but so far it's holding.

My car made 20rwhp and 20rwtq more with a MadZ28 tune over a PCM4Less tune, also drive ability was better with the MadZ28 tune.
Not saying anything bad about Brian's tunes, because they are really good. Just that in my case I was better off with a tune from Ion. My friend's old T/A was a cam only car (LT4 Hot Cam) and his tune was awesome from Brian. And to this day is still the highest dynoing cam only LT4 Hot Cam car that I have seen.

Been pretty happy with mine. My only complaint was follow-up. A little slow in responding, and I told him about my issue (bouncing off the limiter at WOT while in drive on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts the day I installed it) but I know he'd fix it right up whenever I get around to sending him another deposit (which I wasn't too pleased with... but I understand; so many dirtbags out there :finger: ).
I've been laid-off for two months and it looks like I may be getting a sweet gig- but it's 75 miles EACH way The 4.10's GOTTA go!!!!!! So I'm waiting to get me a paycheck to swap gears and I'll have him tweak it then.
But I'd definitely recommend him- good stuff
BUT- if you can get a local dyno-tune, that's DEFINITELY the way to go (no shot at any of the mail order guys, but there's no substitute). And as old as the LT1s are (missed what ya got), or as common as the LSx motors are, it shouldn't be too much more...
