Ok i just got my PCM from pcmforless. I am not sure if this is the problem or not i have already emailed him i just want to get others opinions while i wait.

Installed my new pcm and now my cars rpms are getting stuck on 2k?..

Ok what i mean is if im just driving then push in the clutch the RPMs will only go down to 2k until i come to a complete stop then they will fall slowly to idle.. its really weird and just happened after the pcm install.. just wondering if its pcm? or maybe just a coinsidence and someone else has had this problem and fixed it? No codes or anything. Any help is appreciated thanks.

 

I would try cleaning the iac valve, it is the thing on the bottom of the TB, maybe Bryan has it moving outside the range it was before and is hanging up a bit on some sludge or something.

 

You also may give it a little run-in time. The PCM has to relearn some things and idle can be erratic for a short while.

 

mine has been doing the samething since i got mine done by madwolf! good luck and mine might have went away when i got a new map sensor!

 

I had the same exact thing happen to me with PCMforless and it turned out he set something wrong. I told him about it and he sent me another PCM and it worked fine after that.
