PCMforless worth it on a six speed? If someone else were asking this question I know what I'd tell them I just want ya'll's feedback also should I do it now for the CAI/Exhaust or should I wait till I do headers next spring?

A tune will never hurt unless the programmer is an idiot. 6 speeds just dont pick up as much in the 1/4 b/c you cant play with the shift settings like you can the a4s. Personally, i would save your money until after headers.

 

i needed it cuz i removed EGR, AIR, and went to 3.73 in M6 (speedo corr)

also, car NEVER overheats now. even in 90 F weather

 

i would becuase you can disable cags air egr, fix speedo tell them to make the pe mode hit say 12.9 or so.

i think it would be worth. your also addign miles on there that your not even doing because of the speedo not being fix.

 

PCMforless does a great job on programming. You really need this to get the max out of your engine, regardless of transmissions type. He'll reset A/F ratios, idle and a whole lot of things which will make you happy!
