PCM differences
PCM differences
Are there any physical differences in the 1994 and 1995 OBDI PCM's used in the Vette's, 5.7 F-bodies and 4.3/5.7 B-bodies
I know the software settings would be different but can these all be interchanged among one another assuming you change the software?
I'm also wondering about the 1996 and 1997 OBDII PCM's.
I've been unable to find any info on this.

All 94-95 Camaro, Firebird, Caprice, Impala, Roadmaster and Fleetwood are the same, less the software, which can of course, be changed.
Some CORVETTE PCMs (Service NO 16181333 as opposed to 16188051) are a slightly different, however, they will work just fine if flashed with one of the above cars software.
96 PCMs are ALL the same no matter what car and what engine (L99/LT1/LT4) configuration. Service no. 16214399
97 PCMs service no. 16242921 were only used in 97 Camaros and Firebirds. These can still take a 96 flash and can be used in a 96 car. Same with the 96 PCMs. They will take a 97 flash.
