Do a search in the Forced Induction forum. You'll probably find that they are pretty crappy compared to Vortech and ATI.

No they are not crappy.. Strap a VR4 and run the 1/4 and lets see where will you be at 10psi each

it is the same kit utilized in the TPI systems

The downside of the system is that the supercharger gets hot with prolonged use and you will gain IATs and loose power.. .They get damaged very easily and oil changing is a MUST!...

If you need a system call paradise wheels.. They are good with them...

The vr4 was the best s/c for the 1/4 for a long time and it was banned in certain classes... NOt many out there...

There are NO NOVI Kits for the lt1.. sadly.. I wish I could strap a Novi 2k on mine.. I through someonw would have tried to fit it in but no one ever did. I cant try it because I dont have a novi to test it on. if not... I definetely would.

Woops... I was thinking of the belt driven Powerdyne. My bad. I just went and looked at their site and you are correct, there doesn't appear to be any LT1 supercharger. Although, I did look at their Mustang Cobra kit and it was $4500 bucks without an intercooler. Kinda pricy.

Yes but they are quiet.. Smaller impeller more rpms more boost a bit lower.

Make me an offer I can't refuse on my Vortech kit. I'm going to a turbo setup anyway.

Remember when you go blown you better be ready to have money for a motor rebuild.

My friend had a Paxton on his 89 Stang. I got to hear the thing run and if the hood was closed, you would never be able to tell that he had a blower on there. Even with small rev's, it doesn't make hardly any sound at all. That's good for those who want to keep it a secret. Sad part was he blew the motor after taking it on the road. But it's all good, he's got a 331 stroker that will be ready tomorrow.

The Paxton SN93 doesn't make that much boost which would be good for an LT1. The Powerdyne superchargers are the best buy for the price. I ran a Powerdyne 4.5 for almost 5 years and 40K+ miles with no problems at all. Even got 26-28 mpg on the highway with an A4. Any supercharger at 6+ lbs of boost is just asking for a rebuild.
