I was sitting here and thinking, can you pass emissions with a non emissions friendly car if you run alcohol? There's no hydrocarbons to burn so there would be no emission. What do you think? Also, if you have a e-cutout what if you opened it 1/2 way so exhaust exhaust would exit thru there. I my be in luck, CT might be cancelling emissions all together because there was a bunch of screw ups on tested cars saying they failed but really passed and it costed the state $1,000,000+.

 

They look for EGR and stuff like that. I just had mine smogged and i didnt think it would pass with the headers and cutout before the cat. he looked in my engine bay for a good 10 mins. Never said anything about the headers or cat. He did ask why i took the nitrous off though.
