Passenger side header touching tranny

Has anyone ran into this? Does this mean that I need new motor mounts? Wasn't sure didn't want to buy them and find out that the problem isnt any better. Also the collector on passenger side right where all the tubes meet is touching the heat sheild that goes down that side of the car. Was I supposed to remove this, or is that also a reason to get new motor mounts? Thanks for any advice you can give me. Oh and one more question about blocking off the EGR. I made a plate and blocked off the line and pluged the one on the header, disconnected the wire to the valve, unhooked the vaccum line that goes to the intake manifold and put a vaccum fitting on it. Is that about it or am I missing something else. Thanks again sorry for all the questions.

I can't think of any reason that a header would touch the transmission. It sounds to me like the header is bent out of shape or something...

Mine does too. I'm having a vibration problem and I'm probably gonna try to wrap some rad. hose in exhaust tape and wedge it up there.
