Talking Passed SMOG Today!! Still Rich Though...

Ok. After posting about my "running rich" problem, I somehow passed SMOG tonight. I have no idea how, Im still getting about 12-13mpg... If im lucky. Anyone have any thoughts?? How could I pass SMOG and still run rich??
Am I imagining things? Am I paranoid?
Im happy I passed, but not happy about my MPG.

What do you think?

on an unrelated note,
are you happy with the lt4conversion kit? you think its worth it?

I'd say my foot is moderately heavy, I mean, why have a hot rod if you cant go fast...
I would have done AFR Lt4 heads and an LPE LT4 ported intake and gone with a cc305.....
Its definitely an improvement over stock, but not a "Holy COW".. improvement.. just Faster..
I want to get a blower now..
Im power hungry...

If that 12-13mpg is city driving, thats actually fairly good for these cars, my car seems to run rich too, and I get about 12-13 as well, a lot of the newer models are rated around 15-17mpg city wise.
