Will the comp cams lifters part # cca-850-16 work good with a lt4 hotcam and 1.6 roller rockers and ported heads?Also what timing chain would be best for this car I was hearing bad reviews on the GM performance ones should I watch out for them?

 

I am running the 850-16's with the Hotcam and I dont see any problems.

How many miles on your stocker? I dont see any reason to get a double roller unless you have a bunch of miles on your stocker.

 

The 850-16 lifters will be more then suitable for your application. I haven't heard anything bad about the GM timing sets. The LT4 timing set is a very durable set.
