Heres the deal, I blew headgasket so i had the heads done up and installed a cc 306 while i was at it. I can drive the car around when cold and it runs perfect no problems at all. But once warm the car has a bog/stumble/miss at rpm lower that 3k only at part throttle, if i stomp it during this or any other time the car runs like a raped ape. It will sometimes pop throught the intake if i hold it in the bog (keep it at part throttle). But if i hold it in the bog at part throttle when it gets close to 3k if just takes off like you hit the nitrous swtich. WOT it runs great. Only at part throttle under 3K and when the car is warmed up do I have the problem.

So far i have
Istalled a PCM for Less Tune.
Opti has about 3k on it
ICM/Coil cooling Mod
New 02's
Cleaned IAC & TPS
MAP Sensor
Drove it with MAF Unplugged (BARELY runs)
" " Temp Sensor unplugged
" " 02's Unplugged
" " MAP Sensor unplugged (Ran exactly the same)
New Plugs
Wires have around 5K on them(havent checked for arching yet)

Ruled out vaccum leaks (would be present at all times not only when warm)

Could the EGR be the problem its there but programmed out(tried pluggin it in and unpluggin it and no diff)

Also I think my SES is broken or something because its never come on, even with the sensors unplugged....

I have searched PAGES UPON PAGES of posts here and can't figure it out.. So if anyone has any personal experiance with this and can help PLEASE do so, im about to go nuts!!!

 

could be your o2 sensor...it has simular symptoms like that

 

Already installed new 02's (stated in my first post). didnt work.....
That was my first thought and i was stumped when that didnt work.

 

Also during all of this i have never gotten an ses light! I think the bulb in the dash is broken or something because when i cycle the key "on" and all the warning lights in the cluster come on the SES doesnt. Is this normal,(i doubt it) could this be part of my problem?

 

no, the SES should come on when you turn the key to the "on" position

 

Is it possible that my pcm took a dump on me?

 

check fuel pressure. my car had a lean backfire everytime i stomped it from idle or low rpm and still run ok when i warmed up. it seemed like it had a miss at low RPM. just my .02
