My T/A is missing the rubber that goes around the rim of the glass of the rear hatch window. This is the case on many of the F-Body cars I've seen around. Is there a place I can get it from, or does GM sell it?? Thanks.

Junk yard...and yes, the dealer sells them.... but why do you need it? IMO, your wasting money...

One piece finishing lace for the rear glass.

 

I wanted it because somebody put a cheap looking one on the bottom part before I got it and the top is missing it altogether. So now there is a half inch between the glass and body at the top of the glass.

P.S. Thanks Shoebox, once again you've answered a nagging question floating around in my head!

 

Prior to 95 or 96 the original lace was along the bottom only. Later is was modified to surround the entire glass in the hatch. During the early years, the adhesive leaked out all over the place and caused the lace to fall off. Later a new adhesive was used the didn't do this. Typical GM fix it as you go mentality.
