--part # question--

Hey, I've got a part # from gm for the front dash of a 97TA. I was just wondering if the numbers make a difference in what color it would be ordered in. I know it did when I ordered new sunvisors from gmpartsdirect. the number I have is: 10422746. I need one in dark grey and dont want to order one in black if i dont have to. i asked the dealership and they said they had only that one number with no color specification. Thanks for any information.

That is the only part number listed for 1997-1999 top part of the dash, just as they said. They must all be the same color.

hey, thanks man. thats what i was figuring. thanks for the help. youve helped me out with those damn part numbers the last couple of days. i really appreciate it.

hey, by chance would you know what the part # would be for the outside trim pieces (the trim pieces that run along the middle of the doors and the small trim pieces on the aft of the front fenders and the front of the rear quarter panels). My 97TA is silver in color. I got my tax return recently and am trying to restore the little things that are showing a lot of wear. also my friend was informing me that they made a back center piece (between the taillights) that shows the words TransAm and the bird in silver instead of red. He said it was made in 2002. I swear these are the last of my part # questions! Thanks man.
